Most seniors and persons with medical conditions or physical challenges would prefer to live in their own homes and be as independent as possible.

With ADT Companion Service, you can continue to enjoy all the comforts of home - securely and safety - with the knowledge that if you fall or have an unexpected medical emergency, ADT will be there to help.

Your personal help button comes in either a waterproof wristband or pendant to wear around your neck. With a long-range capability of up to 300 feet, your personal help button even works outdoors.

If you have an emergency, just push your help button to be connected to a trained professional at ADT's 24-hour Customer Monitoring Center.

With the through a 2-way voice intercom in your base unit, you can speak back and forth with from wherever you are in your home without using a telephone.

If the situation is not serious and you don't want emergency responders notified, you can request that ADT call a relative or friend to assist you.

If you don't respond, or if you tell us that the situation is more serious, ADT will immediately contact your local emergency personnel and tell them: who you are, where you are, how to gain entry to your home, and the nature of your emergency. We will continue to talk to you until help arrives, so that you are never alone.

Once help is on the way, ADT will automatically call designated family, neighbors, and friends to calmly notified them of the situation.

Your PERS base station also includes high and low temperature sensors that can send an alert if unsafe temperatures are detected in your home.
